Business trips to Ciudad del Automóvil, family visits across southern Madrid or a stopover en route through Spain all call for reliable transport. Enterprise offers car and van hire in Leganés Ciudad del Automóvil, so you can start your journey as soon as you're ready.
Leganés sits in the southwest of the Madrid conurbation, a mix of residential streets, industrial parks and open ground rather than a rural village. Ciudad del Automóvil is a distinct commercial district, its roads lined with car dealerships and workshops, a nod to the area's practical, working character. Nearby, the Carlos III University campus brings students and staff into the neighbourhood, adding a younger, busier feel to an otherwise steady suburban setting. Beyond the built-up centre, the land opens into flatter countryside stretching south towards Toledo. This gives the area a settled, unhurried atmosphere despite its closeness to the capital.
A car hire from Enterprise suits anyone heading out from Leganés for the day. Central Madrid is within easy reach for museums, shopping or an evening out. Towns such as Getafe and Alcorcón make for quick, practical trips without any need to rely on trains. For longer days out, Toledo's historic centre is a straightforward drive south. An automatic car or a compact SUV both handle the mix of motorway and city driving comfortably.
Enterprise van hire in Leganés Ciudad del Automóvil suits anyone moving between addresses in the region or carrying equipment for work. A small van is enough for a single house move or a delivery run. A large van or Luton van gives extra room for bulkier loads such as furniture or trade tools. Families or groups travelling together might prefer a 7-seater or 9-seater people carrier. This keeps everyone in one vehicle rather than splitting across several cars on the road.
Parque de Polvoranca is one of the largest green spaces in southern Madrid, built around two lakes and a small stream. Visitors can walk or cycle along shaded paths, stop at the botanical garden, or simply watch the birdlife that gathers around the water. Parking near the entrance is straightforward, making it an easy stop for families or anyone wanting a break from driving.
Parquesur shopping centre is one of the largest in the Madrid region, with hundreds of shops and a wide choice of restaurants. An IMAX cinema sits under the same roof, and there's ample parking for visitors arriving by road.
The Ontime Butarque stadium is home to CD Leganés, the city's La Liga football club. Match tickets are usually available in advance. The club also runs stadium tours on non-match days for anyone curious about how a modern football ground operates.
The area south of Madrid opens quickly into flatter, quieter countryside, a contrast to the density of the capital itself. Road links from Leganés run easily towards Toledo and the wider region. A hire vehicle is a practical way to see more of central Spain without relying on trains or transfers.
The price per additional driver is 15.00 EUR per day, with a 10-day maximum at 150.00 EUR.
If returning a vehicle outside the opening hours, please park the vehicle next to the branch. Lock the vehicle and place the keys in the drop box located near the entrance. Please ensure you have gathered all personal belongings before leaving. The renter’s responsibility for the vehicle and rental charges end once an employee inspects the vehicle the next business day.
The minimum age to rent is 21 years old.
All drivers under the age of 25 will be subject to an additional daily charge of 23.00 EUR (capped at 10 days).
Drivers aged 21 to 24 may hire from the following vehicle categories:
- Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard Cars, and SUVs
- Standard People Carriers
- Compact and Intermediate Cargo Vans

The one-way fee varies based on car category, location and pick-up date. If you have reserved a one-way hire, this fee is listed in the reservation details and/or the summary. If unscheduled, this fee will be listed on your hire invoice.
If you purchase Excess Protection (EP) and have also purchased Damage Waiver, any applicable Damage Waiver excess will be reduced to zero on all vehicles. If you purchase EP but not DW, you will remain liable for all losses as a result of loss, theft or damage to the vehicle above the amount indicated in the Rental Agreement, up to the full market value of the vehicle. Some damages will be excluded and your conduct during the hire may affect the protection available under EP (see Exclusions section).
