Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Nerac

Nerac is a small town in Aquitaine and it is a popular destination for tourists. Once a politically significant town as the capital of the historic Albret region at the northern edge of Gascony, today the main highlight of the town is its magnificent castle. Nerac has a population of approximately 7,000 and a moderate climate, typical of south-western France, with summers that can be expected to be pleasantly full of sunshine. Nerac is proud of being the home of foie gras, a world-famous speciality of the region. Foie gras is a type of delicious pate made out of goose livers. Many other towns in the region claim to be the place where foie gras was invented, but Nerac is the place where this claim is generally held to be true - it was first mentioned in a document recording the dish prepared for the Duc de Richelieu in 1769. To really make the most of exploring this region and the town of Nerac, hire a car, ensuring you complete flexibility for your trip.

From July to September, you can enjoy wet and wild fun in this water park with a historical theme - it's filled with basins, waterfalls and slides in charming reconstructions of Gallo-Roman ruins with pillars and temples galore. There is a huge range of activities, including large rubber rings to slide down chutes and a choice of aqua exercise classes.
