UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 By entering this promotion, all participants accept these terms and conditions in full. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
1.2 The promotion is open to residents of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), France, Germany, Spain and the Republic of Ireland who are aged eighteen (18) or over at the date on which they enter the promotion, excluding employees of the promoter, its group companies, its agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion and any member of their respective immediate families.
1.3 If you are subject to a football banning order, banned from any sports events or on an official list of known football “hooligans”, you may not enter this promotion.
1.4 No purchase is necessary to enter this promotion. You will need an Internet connection to enter the promotion. If you are resident in France you are entitled to obtain reimbursement from the promoter of any internet connection costs incurred in entering the promotion. All reimbursement requests should be sent by mail only to the following address: EHI UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE, PromoVeritas Ltd, Monument House, 215 Marsh Road, London, HA5 5NE. The cost of your stamp will also be reimbursed to you.

2. ENTRY TO THE PROMOTION

2.1 The promotion will run from 18 January 2016 until 22 April 2016 (the "promotion period"). There will be two prize draws as follows:

  1. the entry window for the first prize draw opens at 00.01 (GMT) on 18 January 2016 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on 17 March 2016; and
  2. the entry window for the second prize draw opens on 00.01 (GMT) on 18 March 2016 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on 22 April 2016.

2.2 To enter the promotion, visit www.enterprise.fr/en/a-propos/sponsoring/uefa/promotion-europa-league-soumissions.html during the promotion period and submit your name, email address, telephone number and date of birth.
2.3 You may enter the promotion a maximum of five (5) times but no more than once in any twenty four (24) hour period. If you enter the first prize draw and win a prize you will not be eligible to participate in the second prize draw however, if you enter the first prize draw and do not win a prize, you will automatically be entered into the second prize draw. No entrant can win more than one (1) prize.

3. THE PRIZES

3.1 There are eleven (11) prizes to be won in the first prize draw:

  1. One (1) grand prize of a VIP Match Day Assist experience for two (2) - the prize winner and their guest (who must be at least 18 years old) - to the UEFA Europa League Quarter Final to be played on 7 April 2016 (teams TBC). This prize includes: a contribution of £500 towards the travel expenses incurred by the winner and their guest in travelling to the city in which the match will be played (which sum shall be paid by cheque to the winner subject to the winner providing adequate receipts for the same); two (2) tickets to the match including hospitality (details to be confirmed to the winner); a chauffeur driven car to take the winner and their guest to and from their hotel and the stadium before and after the match; a chaperone at the stadium to guide the winner and their guest through the hospitality and match experience; dedicated parking at the match stadium; a pitch-side visit for the winner and their guest prior to the match and photo opportunity; access to the post-match press conference for the winner and their guest; overnight accommodation for the winner and their guest in one (1) double or twin room on a room only basis in a 4* hotel selected by the promoter; and travel insurance for the VIP Match Day Assist experience (at a level determined by the promoter in its discretion) for each of the winner and their guest; and
  2. Ten (10) prizes of two (2) Category 1 tickets to the UEFA Europa League Final to be played on 18 May 2016 (teams TBC), scheduled to be played in St Jakob Park, Basel, Switzerland, including hospitality (details to be confirmed to each winner).
  3. The approximate value of the grand prize (excluding the exclusive 'Money can’t buy element' of this prize) is £2,100 and the approximate value of each other prize is £600.

3.2 There are sixteen (16) prizes to be won in the second prize draw:

  1. One (1) grand prize of a VIP Match Day Assist experience for two (2) - the prize winner and their guest (who must be at least 18 years old) - to the UEFA Europa League Final to be played on 18 May 2016 (teams TBC). This prize includes: a contribution of £500 towards the travel expenses incurred by the winner and their guest in travelling to Basel (which sum shall be paid by cheque to the winner subject to the winner providing adequate receipts for the same); two (2) tickets to the match including hospitality (details to be confirmed to the winner); a chauffeur driven car to take the winner and their guest to and from their hotel and the stadium before and after the match; a chaperone at the stadium to guide the winner and their guest through the hospitality and match experience; dedicated parking at the match stadium; a pitch-side visit for the winner and their guest prior to the match and photo opportunity; access to the post-match press conference for the winner and their guest; overnight accommodation for the winner and their guest in one (1) double or twin room on a room only basis in a 4* hotel selected by the promoter; and travel insurance for the VIP Match Day Assist experience (at a level determined by the promoter in its discretion) for each of the winner and their guest; and
  2. Fifteen (15) prizes of two (2) Category 1 tickets to the UEFA Europa League Final to be played on 18 May 2016 (teams TBC) , including hospitality (details to be confirmed to each winner).
  3. The approximate value of the grand prize (excluding the exclusive 'Money can’t buy element' of this prize) is £2,100 and the approximate value of each other prize is £600.

4.WINNERS

4.1 The winners of the prizes set out in paragraph 3.1 will be selected within 48 hours of the end of the entry period for the first prize draw at random from all eligible entries by an independent adjudicator.
4.2 The winners of the prizes set out in paragraph 3.2 will be selected by within 48 hours of the end of the entry period for the second prize draw at random from all eligible entries by an independent adjudicator.
4.3 Winners will be notified by phone or email using the details provided at the time of entry.

5.CONDITIONS

5.1 In the event that the promoter is unable to contact a winner within four (4) working days of the relevant draw, the promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner selected at random.
5.2 After being notified that they have won a grand prize in accordance with paragraph 4.3, the winners of the VIP Match Day Assist experiences will be instructed on how to liaise with the promoter in order to claim their prize.
5.3 The prizes set out in paragraphs 3.1(b) and 3.2(b) will be delivered to the winners as soon as reasonably practical following a valid acceptance of the prize and in any event at least five (5) working days prior to the date on which the match to which their prize relates is due to be played.
5.4 The winner of each prize will be responsible for ensuring that they and their guest have all necessary travel documentation (valid passport/visa etc) required to enter the country in which the match is played and appropriate travel insurance (except that the promoter will organise travel insurance for the winners of the VIP Match Day Assist experiences and their guests provided that insurance is available for a premium not exceeding £100 per person). The promoter will not be responsible for ensuring the winner’s ability to travel and may require proof that all necessary travel documentation and travel insurance (unless, in the case of the VIP Match Day Assist prize winners, the promoter has obtained insurance on their behalf) is in place before awarding any prize.
5.5 The winner of each VIP Match Day Assist experience is responsible for their and their guest's behaviour whilst attending the match and acknowledges that the promoter reserves the right (without any liability to the winner or their guest) to exclude the winner and/or their guest from participation in the VIP Match Day Assist experience or bring the VIP Match Day Assist experience to an end early if the winner and/or their guest fail to comply with the directions of the promoter, with the relevant ticket terms and conditions or the winner and/or their guest act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. The winner will be informed of any dress code requirements for the VIP Match Day Assist experience but should assume that the dress code is smart casual: no jeans or trainers, no football colours and no clothing with overtly prominent branding. UEFA may require that additional personal information is provided to it in relation to each winner of a prize (and, if applicable, their guest) for safety and security reasons, including (for example) their name, date of birth, country of birth and Passport or ID number. Failure to provide this information will result in the forfeiture of the prize.
5.6 There is no cash alternative. Prizes (including each element of the VIP Match Day Assist experience) are non-transferable and cannot be resold. In the event that the winner does not take any element of the prize, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner. The promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater value if a prize is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the promoter, the prize will only be awarded to the winner.
5.7 All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions set out on the relevant match ticket.
5.8 Each winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity as may be required by the promoter in respect of the promotion. Each winner grants the promoter the right to publish the winner's name, photograph and country on its website, Facebook page or Twitter account or to publicise the prize-giving presentation within a year of the end of the promotion period.
5.9 The name and country of each winner in the first prize draw will be published on www.promowinners.com/Enterprise for four (4) weeks from 5 April 2016. The name and county of each winner in the second prize draw will be published on www.promowinners.com/Enterprise for four (4) weeks from 16 May 2016.
5.10 No entries from agents, third parties, syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices are permitted and no bulk entries.
5.11 All costs and expenses not included within the prizes and any taxes payable in relation to a prize are the responsibility of the winner(s) (unless you are resident in Spain in which event the promoter shall be responsible for any such taxes).
5.12 The promoter reserves the right at any time, in its absolute discretion, to:

  1. verify the eligibility of any participant (including their age and place of residence);
  2. disqualify any participant found to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the promotion or entering using fraudulent means, or who the promoter believes to have acted in breach of these terms and conditions;
  3. disqualify participants who do not give correct contact details or those who make an entry on someone else's behalf; and
  4. disqualify any participant: (i) posting an entry or a comment to the promoter’s Facebook, Twitter or other social media platform that is, in the promoter's opinion, inappropriate, offensive or upsetting to other participants, fans of the promoter, the promoter itself, UEFA or the UEFA Europa League or contrary to applicable law, and to remove any such entry or comment; and/or (ii) acting in any way which is detrimental or damaging to the name, image or reputation of the promoter, UEFA and/or the UEFA Europa League.

6.LIABILITY

6.1 The promotion is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or any other third party social media platform. Participants acknowledge that none of Facebook, Twitter or any other third party social media platform shall have any liability to them in connection with the promotion.
6.2 The promoter will be responsible for loss or damage you suffer in connection with this promotion which is a foreseeable consequence of the promoter’s breach of these terms and conditions or the promoter’s negligence. Subject to the foregoing, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the promoter excludes liability for any losses, damages or claims incurred by any person in connection with the promotion or receipt or misuse of any prize. 6.3 Neither the promoter nor UEFA is liable if the UEFA Europa League match to which a prize relates is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled for any reason. Entrants should note that it may be necessary for the promoter to vary elements of the VIP Match Day Assist experience or even to cancel the experience where the promoter is required to do so by UEFA in its absolute discretion including for safety and security reasons.
6.4 Please note that the promoter shall not be liable if it is not possible to obtain travel insurance for any winner of the Match Day Assist experience prizes (or their respective guests) for a premium equal to or less than £100 per person.
6.5 Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any entry or claim which for technical or other reasons is unsuccessful, incomplete, lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected.

7.GENERAL

7.1 Any decision of the promoter in respect of the promotion is final.
7.2 The promoter reserves the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
7.3 All personal data submitted in connection with the promotion will be processed by the promoter for the purposes of administering and managing the promotion and prizes (where applicable) and verifying the eligibility of each participant and otherwise in accordance with the promoter's privacy policy. Participants may exercise their rights to access their personal data and rectify, cancel and object to such processing by contacting the promoter by email or post at privacy@ehi.com or Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK Limited, Enterprise House, Vicarage Road, Egham, Surrey TW20 9FB. By participating in the promotion, each participant consents to the use of their personal data in accordance with these terms and conditions and the promoter's privacy policy.
7.4 Any images are an illustrative example and do not show the exact prize(s).
7.5 The promoter is Enterprise Rent-A Car UK Limited, Vicarage Road, Egham, Surrey TW20 9FB.
7.6 The promoter is responsible for all elements of this promotion (including in relation to the supply of prizes and the reimbursements referred to in clause 1.4). Each participant acknowledges and agrees that it shall have no right or claim against UEFA for any element of the promotion.
7.7 This promotion and these terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
